Our core promise

TokenWise is a usage tracker that runs locally on your Mac. All processing happens on your device. We do not collect, upload, or have any access to your usage data or conversations.

What TokenWise reads

To measure token usage, TokenWise — only after your explicit authorization — reads the local session / log files written by your AI coding tools (Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Gemini, etc.). This content is used solely to compute and display usage, trends, and conversation history on your device, stored locally within the app sandbox.

Network use

TokenWise uses the network in exactly one case: when you configure a “push channel” yourself, usage alerts are sent to the endpoint you specify (e.g. your own webhook). That data goes directly from your device to your configured address and never passes through any server of ours. If you don’t set up a push channel, TokenWise performs no network communication.

What we don’t do

• No collection of personal information, usage data, or conversations
• No third-party analytics, ads, or tracking SDKs
• No uploading of any data to developer servers (we operate no server to receive it)

Storage & deletion

Computed results are stored in a local database inside the app sandbox. Uninstalling TokenWise deletes this local data. Your original session files are managed by the AI tools themselves; TokenWise only reads them, never modifies them.

TokenWise 是一款在你 Mac 本地运行的用量统计工具。所有统计都在你的设备本地完成，我们不收集、不上传、也无法看到你的任何用量数据或对话内容。

TokenWise 读取什么

为统计 token 用量，TokenWise 在你显式授权后，读取本地 AI 编程工具写在本机的会话 / 日志文件（Claude Code、Codex、OpenCode、Gemini 等）。读取到的内容仅用于在本机计算并展示用量、趋势与对话回看，保存在你设备本地的应用沙盒内。

网络使用

TokenWise 仅在一种情况下使用网络：当你主动配置了「推送渠道」时，用量预警会发送到你自己指定的端点（如你填写的 Webhook）。该数据直接从你的设备发往你配置的地址，不经过我们的任何服务器。若不配置推送渠道，TokenWise 不进行任何网络通信。

我们不做的事

• 不收集个人信息、用量数据或对话内容
• 不含第三方分析、广告或追踪 SDK
• 不上传任何数据到开发者服务器（我们没有服务器接收这些数据）

数据存储与删除

统计结果保存在应用沙盒内的本地数据库。卸载 TokenWise 即删除这些本地数据。你原始的会话文件由各 AI 工具自身管理，TokenWise 只读不改。
